Fundamental Issue: MPs seem unable to make tough decisions

MPs during decision-making about brexit seem to have been unable to make tough decisions. The constraints include:

  • MPs put their parliamentary career first, overly scared of making the decicion they beleive in over please the electorate and getting re-elected.
  • MPs put their standing in their party first, overly scared of making the right decision for fear of party reprisals.
